Dr Simon Hill
Consultant Psychiatrist
Dr Simon Hill is a very experienced consultant psychiatrist with significant experience in diagnosing and treating ADHD and autism in a variety of settings. He gained his medical degree in 1997 from the University of Oxford (Christ Church) and subsequently became a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists in 2001. He also has an MA in physiological sciences from the University of Oxford. He has worked as a consultant psychiatrist with adults and adolescents since 2007. He has published numerous academic articles on various aspects of psychiatry. He is able to diagnose and treat a wide variety of psychiatric conditions such as ADHD, Autism, mood disorders, PTSD and anxiety.
Dr Hill was the Medical Director of the Specialised Services division of Southern Health NHS Foundation trust. He previously worked as a medical member on mental health tribunals. In addition, Dr Hill writes medico-legal reports for court and has often appeared as an expert witness.
Dr Hill is keen to work with patients to establish an accurate diagnosis and to begin appropriate treatment in accordance with the interest of the patient.

In his spare time, Dr Hill loves to spend time gardening, cooking and fly fishing. He also loves to stay active and challenge himself with marathon running.

Patients are advised to confirm directly with their insurance provider regarding coverage for consultation fees. Berkeley Psychiatrists accepts payment solely from patients, providing an invoice afterward for submission to the appropriate insurance company.

I found the process very easy to follow. The video call option worked best for me, as a face-to-face appointment would have felt overwhelming. Dr Hill was incredibly understanding and helped put me at ease. Thank you for all your support — it was genuinely appreciated. I’d definitely recommend you.
Very good experience. I had a psychiatric assessment with Dr. Hill who was great and provided a diagnosis report on the same day. The appointment was easy to book and pay for online and appointments were available quickly.
