Mr Conner McNamara is a Mental Health Nurse Prescriber with a specialist interest in neurodiverse conditions, including attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and autism. His interest in this area developed prior to university, while working for a charity supporting individuals with autism to live independently in their own homes.

Mr McNamara completed his nursing degree at the University of Chester, qualifying as a nurse in 2019. Since then, he has worked across a range of community-based services, including community mental health and primary care, gaining broad and valuable clinical experience supporting individuals with diverse mental health needs.

He further developed his clinical practice by completing the V300 Non-Medical Prescribing qualification at the University of Liverpool in 2023. As an independent non-medical prescriber, Mr McNamara is able to offer a holistic approach to care, combining pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment options to support effective symptom management.

Mr McNamara is known for his professional, enthusiastic and patient-centred approach. He works collaboratively with individuals, tailoring care plans to their needs and focusing on improving wellbeing, daily functioning and overall quality of life.
