Megan is a Mental Health Nurse Specialist with extensive experience across community, primary care, crisis, and specialist neurodevelopmental services. She is registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and qualified as an Independent Prescriber in 2022. Megan is also a member of the Royal College of Nursing and is committed to ongoing professional development to ensure her practice remains current, safe, and evidence-based.
With a background as a college lecturer prior to qualifying as a nurse in 2018, Megan brings a strong focus on clear communication and high-quality psychoeducation. She supports individuals and families to better understand their experiences and feel more confident in their care.
Megan has held a range of senior clinical roles, including in crisis and home treatment teams, drug and alcohol services, CAMHS ADHD pathways, and the private sector. She has significant experience in ADHD assessment, diagnosis and prescribing within both NHS and Right to Choose pathways, supported by additional CPD training in adult ADHD assessment and pharmacological treatment.
Specialising in neurodiversity—particularly ADHD, autism, and co-occurring mental health challenges—Megan’s approach is collaborative, person-centred and grounded in evidence. She places emphasis on shared decision-making, continuity of care, and delivering safe, thoughtful prescribing alongside holistic support. Her practice is shaped by compassion, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to helping individuals achieve positive and sustainable outcomes.
