Leon is a Pharmacist Independent Prescriber with clinical experience across primary care, secondary care, community pharmacy, online healthcare and private consulting. He completed both his Master of Pharmacy degree and Independent Prescribing qualification at the University of Manchester, undertaking a split training post between GP practice and hospital pharmacy.
During his prescribing training, Leon developed a strong interest in antidepressant therapy, mood disorders, and psychopharmacology. This foundation naturally led to his progression into ADHD prescribing, where he now specialises in supporting individuals with ADHD through safe, evidence-based medication management and ongoing review.
Leon’s broad clinical background gives him a comprehensive understanding of complex medication regimens, comorbid mental health conditions and the importance of personalised, thoughtful prescribing. He has worked across community pharmacies, NHS GP practices, hospital settings and private sector roles, enabling him to deliver care that is flexible, patient-centred, and grounded in up-to-date clinical guidance.
Leon is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as an Independent Prescriber, under registration number 2236788. He maintains a strong commitment to continuous professional development, ensuring his practice reflects the latest NICE guidelines and current evidence surrounding ADHD treatment and wider mental health care.
Passionate about supporting individuals to gain clarity, confidence and improved day-to-day functioning, Leon prioritises clear communication, shared decision-making and safe, effective prescribing. His approach aims to help each person achieve positive and sustainable outcomes through tailored, compassionate, evidence-based care.
