Dr Maria Diaz

Dr Maria Diaz, MBBS, LMS, is a highly experienced Consultant Psychiatrist with over 25 years of clinical practice in both NHS and private settings, covering all major psychiatric sub-specialties. She studied Medicine and Surgery at the University of Salamanca, Spain, and completed her psychiatry specialty training on the Oxford rotation in the UK. She holds full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC).

Dr Diaz has completed advanced training and certification in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, offering comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based management plans. She combines clinical precision with a compassionate, person-centred approach, tailoring care to each patient’s individual needs.

She regularly supervises and trains medical students from the University of Southampton and supports multidisciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based psychiatric care.

Bilingual in English and Spanish, Dr Diaz conducts assessments in both languages and is also proficient in French, Portuguese and Italian.
