Dr Claudia Aymerich has been working as a Consultant Psychiatrist since 2022. She sees both children and adults and specializes in the diagnostic assessment and management of neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), as well as early phases of severe mental illness. She is ADOS-2 trained.
Claudia completed her medical degree and subsequent psychiatry training in the Basque Country, Spain. In 2024 she moved to the United Kingdom, where she continues to practice as a psychiatrist.
She holds a PhD in Neurosciences focused on prevention in mental disorders and is a strong advocate for early detection and intervention, particularly for young people. Among her patients she is known for an empathetic, approachable manner and attention to detail.
Dr Aymerich currently works at King’s College London and the South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust, one of the most reputable mental health institutions in Europe.

Outside of medicine, Dr Aymerich enjoys spending time on activities that help her stay balanced and connected. She is a passionate cook and loves experimenting with new recipes, often sharing this interest with family and friends. She also enjoys reading biographies, which she finds a great way to learn from different life experiences and perspectives.
In her spare time, she likes being outdoors and regularly goes hiking in the mountains with her husband. She values the importance of an active lifestyle and time in nature, especially for mental wellbeing. She also enjoys travelling and discovering new cultures, as well as spending time with family and friends.
